About Kassamba

This 36 meter long Angolan cargo vessel was built in 1977 and was on route to Luanda with cases of wine and supposed firearms.On 25 March 1985 there were very rough seas and the ship ended up in trouble just a kilometer and a half away from port.The crew was rescued by two rugboats during the incident but the ship sank and now lies on her portside in a maximum depth of 70 meters. Due to the depths it is only suitable for advanced divers.The visibility in the area is very good and is home to various marine life
