About Dumunpalit Island

Dumunpalit Island can be found in the Northern Palawan province, roughly 45 kilometers to the north of Port Carlton. It can be reached in about 5 or 6 hours via a banca boat around the Busuanga Island. One should dive the South Western part of Dumunpalit Island for the most enjoyment. Another name for Dumunpalit Island is Turtle Island, owing to it's shape. It is an amazing island, with a reef protected by a Marine Protection Zone. It has amazing soft pink coral from the beach to 25 meters deep and pelagic creatures living on the slope. The island does not offer any amenities besides guards who call it their home. If one wishes to camp overnight, a fee of $55 per person is needed to be paid as well as a 7 day notification.
