About Barracuda Lake

Barracuda Lake boasts a very appealing and unique dive. It is named after an extremely large barracuda that lives in the lake. To get to the site one will have to traverse an incredibly steep incline. The highest 4 meters of the lake water is fresh water whilst below that it is salt water. Temperatures can vary from 28 (the surface down to 18 meters) to about 40 degrees Celsius (14 meters to 35 meters). At about 35 meters the water becomes rather murky. At about 30 meters one will come across a penetrable cave but be careful as it can be tricky.
