About Witu Islands

Group of volcanic Islands with plenty of dive spots - Garove Island, 60 km nw of Kimbe Bay used to be a large volcano and its crater is now 300 meters deep where the currents sweep in some incredible animals. "Lama Shoals" has barracudas, trevally and large dogtooth tuna as well as incredible coral - the muck diving here is great around the Witu islands such as Milne Bay and "Dicky's Place". Youll see the likes of tailed seaslugs, nudibranchs and razor fish.
