About The Pohutukawas

Also known as Whale Bay. This dive was named for the many beautiful Pohutukawa Trees surrounding this site. Its a sheltered bay with little or no currents, ideal for all level divers and dive training. Bottom consists of sand and silt, reducing visibility in bad weather. Great entry point. Overall, a beautiful dive with much to see and explore.
