About The Carantan

The Carantan was a French Submarine Chaser vessel that serverd in WW11. She was seized by the British after the Fall of France in 1940. She served as an escort vessel for the British till she capsized and sank in December 1943, taking with her a total of 17 crew members. Today she rests in waters of 35 meters deep, thus making this a intermediate dive. Lots to see and explore.
