About Star Of Canada Wreck

The Star Of Canada was a Steel Hulled Twin Screw Steamer Vessel. She sank on June 23, 1912 after a storm broke out. Heavy gales and rough sea conditions made her slam into Kaiti Beach. During this incident she took on alot of water. Three of her holds were flooded and she sank shortly after. Today she is resting in a sandy bottom no deeper than 22 meters, making it a easy wreck dive. All level divers welcome. Large variety of marine life and enveloping corals to explore.
