About Seafire Wreck

This wreck can be reached via a short boat ride from Whakatane. The Seafire was a New Zealand registered vessel that was sunk intentionally in November 2008 in order to promote coral growth and attract marine life. Today, this wreck holds a very interesting display of marine and coral life which is ideal for underwater photography.
