About Point Gordon

This is a Rocky Point located East on Mahanga Bay and was used during the second world war as a defence boom against submarine attacks. Today you will still see the old remains of this boom along the rock formations. Bottom consists of sand, silt, rock formations and a large variety of many interesting artifacts.
