About Halcione Wreck

The Halcione was a Scottish Iron Hulled Barkentine. Bad weather and stormy seas caused her fate on January 8, 1896. She was enroute from London to Wellington when she was send onto the rocks and eventually sank. Even though she has been uder water for so long, she remains a beautiful dive with lots of her remains to be seen.
