About Emma Sims Wreck

This was a small Australian Auxillary Ketch Vessel. In May 1907 a heavy storm broke out, causing heavy sea conditions which forced the Emma Sims to look for shelter at Mana Island. Instead, she was stranded. This very same vessel has been stranded two times before and escaped the fate. Seems her luck ran out. Its a beautiful shallow dive. Coral covered and teeming with marine life.
