A marine protected coral reef just a few metres out from the lodge, makes scuba diving an absolute must when visiting Ossimba.The lodge has a inflatable, semi-ridged 6.5 metre Gemini dive boat, powered by two 60 hp Yamaha motors, and fitted with GPS, VHF radio and all the necessary safety equipment. There are various wrecks and locations suitable for any diver, from the anxious beginner to the experienced explorer.Divers are bound to be awestruck by the bright and beautiful underwater coral community teeming with marvelous marine life. Expect to come face to face with a diverse collection of reef fish, shrimps, moray eels, turtles and even the sort after Nudibranch! The reefs on the northern side of Mozambique near Nacala Bay are known to be the most beautiful in the country.In addition to our house reef there are a number of deep wall dives and wrecks across the bay, at Baixa do Pinda to explore. All scuba divers must be fully qualified and proof of qualification must be presented on arrival. Resort courses can be arranged if we are notified well in advance.The on-site dive centre is fully equipped with six complete sets of Scubapro equipment including:- Wetsuits- Masks- Snorkels- Fins- Weight belts
