Diving in the Mozambique Quirimbas National Park is an experience not to be missed. Divers on holiday in this untouched region will still see intact coral reefs, myriad colourful fish and large marine animals such as dolphins and sharks, whale sharks and manta rays.Diving in the Quirimbas Archipelago means warm waters and high visibility; it means sightings of unbleached coral reefs, game fish including Yellow fin tuna and Marlin, Whale sharks; huge schools of feeding Barracuda, King Fish, Red snappers, Green and Hawksbill turtles, pods of Humpback dolphins as well as the Humpback whales in season.Diving sites are centred on the islands and their luxurious lodges. Dive Quirimbas on Ibo Island has a resident Padi Dive Instructor, and offers scuba diving to accredited divers as well as several dive training courses. You can book a series of dives or a dedicated dive package as a guest at Ibo Island Lodge. Or a mobile island hopping dive safari – one of the most unique dive and adventure experiences in Africa!
