About Yamagiri Maru

The Yamagiri Maru lie between Param and Weno, Chuuk Lagoon at a max depth 34 metres (110 feet), 30 metres (98 feet) to top of wreck.. It's a 6,438 ton 6-hold freighter / passenger liner, 133 metres (439 feet) long. The visibility here averages 15 metres (50 feet) . It lies port side with twin masts pointing out and its 6 holds are penetrable. There are clownfish and anemones to muse over around the masts. A large propeller and the keep are also encrusted. There's a skull in the overhead space of the engine room and a torpedo hole in hold 3.
