About Sunrise Reef

This spot is northernmost of all the popularly dived areas. Its slope has wonderful coral around 12 and 20m with pinnacles housing oodles of macro life. The site is known for its abundance in coral - over three times as much here alone as any other Carribean site! Lots of Turtles sharks and giant clams. Mandarin fish is a five minute boat ride to the lee of the island where one can witness the once in a lifetime event of watching Mandarinfish mate. They live in the coral shallows and if you hover over them you can see all the action! Take your camera or you will be very disappointed... .
