About Samakai Wall

East of Yap and south of The Valley of the Rays this wall falls to 30m with relaxed currents making for a great drift plenty of coral such Star and table as well as hundreds of reef fish and barracuda, lionfish and sharks. Nearby is Lighthouse Pass to the north which offered lighthouse acess for the Japanese in WWII. A relaxed drift with lots of large pelagics. Sakura Terrace lies north - a slope making for a magical night diving with lots of great topography to play aroud in and sharks, rays and lobsters.
