About Hino Maru 2

Launched from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in 1935 this cargo ship is 61 metres (200.1 feet) long and 11 metres (35.1 feet) wide. Also known as One-Gun-Boat, Gun High Wreck , Dai-ni Hino Maru, Dai-Futa Hino Maru and Tenno Maru. Anchored west of Uman Island when she went down due to a 500lb bomb. Its badly damaged in comparison to many of Chuuks wrecks. Where the boats moor you see the bow gun hence Gun High Wreck. The anchor and winch can still be seen in the forecastle. Dived conjunct with the Sankisan Maru.
