About International Pier

This large pier was constructed in 1978 on a sandy bottom, moving out towards the first of the mini-walls that line the western coast of Cozumel. This pier can only be dived on weekends and then only after the Harbor Master has granted permission. These limitations are enforced due to the many different cruise ships that dock frequently as well as the car ferry that travels between Puerto Morelos and Cozumel.
