About Xatt l-Ahmar (Red Bay)

Xatt l-Ahmar, also known as Red Bay, is a renowned scuba diving site located on the southeastern coast of Gozo. The site is home to three deep wrecks: MV Cominoland, MV Karwela, and MV Xlendi, all of which have a maximum depth of approximately 40 meters. The MV Karwela and MV Cominoland were scuttled together in 2006, while the MV Xlendi was scuttled in 1999. In addition to these wrecks, the site also features a wall reef with some caves and a shallow bay.
