About North Reef & Arch

North Reef & Arch is a reef dive site located on the north side of the Qawra Point peninsula. The dive begins with a gentle slope to a depth of about 10 meters, leading to a small wall reef that descends to a sandy area at 15 meters, surrounded by seagrass. A notable feature of this site is a beautiful arch at a depth of 18 meters, large enough for divers to swim through. A narrow sandy path through seagrass meadows leads under the arch to another sandy field at 22 meters. The maximum depth of this dive site is 20 meters.

Heading north, the seabed is primarily covered in Posidonia seagrass until a deeper reef is reached at about 30 meters. The other end of the shallow reef is in close proximity to Fra Ben Cave. The dive site is recommended for advanced divers due to its depth and potential currents. The type of dive site is a reef, offering a variety of marine life, although specific species are not specified. The site is located near Qawra Point.
