About Finger Reef

Finger Reef is a unique dive site situated in Ghar Lapsi, southern Malta. The site is named after its finger-like shape and offers a maximum depth of 20 meters. The reef is home to a vibrant wall teeming with false coral, sponges, and small, brightly coloured fish. Divers can also explore a cave with a hole in the roof, which serves as an exit. The cave houses a variety of corals, which are best viewed with a torch to highlight their striking colours.

The dive at Finger Reef can be combined with a visit to the cave system and the Crib. However, divers should be aware that strong currents are common in this area. Despite this, the site is recommended for beginners due to its manageable depth and diverse marine life. The dive site type includes Cave, Reef, and Wall.
