Cargo Ship Camadan

The Cargo Ship Camadan is a technical wreck dive located east of Malta, approximately 4 km from Delimara. This dive site is the resting place of the MV Camadan, a Turkish cargo ship that flooded and sank in rough seas on 12th March 2002. The ship, measuring about 80 m in length with a beam of 14 m, offers an intriguing exploration for experienced divers. The crew of 12 was fortunately rescued during the incident.

The wreck is submerged at a depth of 90 metres, making the Cargo Ship Camadan a technical trimix dive. Given the depth and complexity of this dive, it is recommended for technical divers with appropriate training and experience. The site is classified as a wreck dive, offering a unique underwater adventure. The possible marine life at the site is yet to be documented.
