Embudu is surrounded with a house reef within easy walking distance and drops to 30 meters. 24 hours a day you can choose from 6 different diving routes on the house reef. Already on the house reef you con see nearly everything the underwater world offers. From rays, sharks, moray to Napoleon, lobster, turtles and sometimes-even mantas nearly every meeting is possible. Who is interested in bizarre coral formations will find in the current free coral garden what he is looking for. Of course we offer several boat trips per day to dive sites on the outside of the atoll. More than 35 of the most beautiful dive sites of the North- and South-Male-Atoll can be reached in 30 minutes to one hour by boat. Among them the famous Canyon, Cathedral and The Wall, the colourful Dragon’s Mouth or Lion’s Head that is mentioned in every guide book about the Maldives. We go to several cave dive sites such as the big Wadu Caves or the Vellassaru Caves as well as the big wreck Victory and the colourful, varied Potato Reef are regular on our program.One of the highlights in everybody’s diver life is most probably the legendary Embudu Express, an “action drift dive” in the Embudu Channel, not even 10 minutes by boat away from Embudu. You can meet nearly any big fishes, reef sharks we can nearly guarantee. We are also organising full day trips with two dives and a visit of one or two other islands.
