About Dragone

The Dragon is one of the most varied diving for environments that you can visit: we go from rich coral walls (Corallum Rubrium) and gorgonians (Paramuricea clavata), a suspended roof, then get to swim around large blocks of rocks that have an intricate series of canals and passages. The shape of the walls, which descend vertically to the bottom and the depth varies between 25 and 40 meters and beyond, make this dive a medium-difficult. For the descent we have two possibilities: one is to go down the chain of the mooring buoy, but as the base set on a backdrop of about 30 meters one might feel uncomfortable, and then click to begin the dive down along the wall where the coast marks a small indentation. Going down the chain we come against a background mixture of scattered rocks and bottom debris, without wasting time we head towards the wall and keeping it on our left, we begin exploring the many caves and holes where we can see lobsters, moray eels and many branches of coral. Arrived almost to the point that borders the bay of the dragon at the moment we leave the wall come down further to the right. Here we go around the blocks in water depths of 40 m covered with red sea fans. We stop the time required to remain within the no decompression and then increased again near the wall and head beyond the point where we could see a maze of rocks that provides hospitality in large specimens of grouper and snapper can go where the research of their prey. Here you can indulge on the trails to choose from and going to a depth of 15-18 meters we begin our return. Meet soon on the wall and holding our right to start again browse the indentations on the right until there is a vast and rich roof that extends diagonally to a share of 9 mile. Carefully all'assetto and our bubbles are trapped in the folds of a ceiling covered with sea daisies (Parazoantus), we visit the cerniotte or greater forkbeard often hidden in crevices below. Restarting our kicking we arrive at a large square blocks that makes a reference back to the mooring buoy. Air permitting, we can still go down the side or head to sea until the boat.
