About West Calf Island

The 3 Calf Islands are located about 6km from Schull Pier and is an island which used to occupied by a few people almost 100 years ago.There are still some building structures remaining on the islands.On West Calf is where you will find the best diving opportunities with various rocky structures,there are also the remains of a 19th century wreck on the North of the island.These islands also have drop offs,gullies,large groups of rocks and various other exciting terrains to dive.Another exciting dive is a rock dive off the Northern side of Middle Calf.There are various corals at these islands and are deffinitely worth a dive
