About Shark Rock

East of Tharal Point is Shark Rock,a rock which is visible due to break at slack tide.It is suggested that you dive this area during slack tide as if you attempt to dive it during high tide it is very possible for your boat to hit the rock. This site consists of reefs, walls and gullies. The underwater structures are fascinating and the gully splits into two at a section after the reef, where one side is narrow and resembles a cave and the other one is larger and more open. One can find depths of around 35m if you head South out the gullies where there are large boulders. This site is teeming with marine life and coral growth and is definitely recommended
