About Portnagh Rock

One of the best shore dives in the area this easily accessable dive has a steps which lead into the water,It is located next to the lighthouse and the rock is visible through tides.This is a sheltered dive and one is able to dive this when certains winds are too strong for other sites.There are various rocks features including steep cliff faces which plunge deep under water as well as large boulders,gullies,ledges and more and reaches depths of over 30 meters.It is certainly recommended for those without a boat.
