About Dooneen North

Head 3km West out of Kilcrohane until you come to a bar on the left,carry on another 200m and then take a left by a red barn and carry on with the road until you come to a pier.While it is not possible to launch a boat here you can reach the area by launching a boat at Kilcrohane Pier which is 1000m away.There are various rock formations surrounding the pier and the dive site there is protected from winds and is calmer than other surrounding dive sites.20-30m from to the left of the pier is a cave inside a cliff face which makes for exciting diving
