About Pura Jepun

Pura Jepun is located at north end of the diving area in Padang Bai. It can be reached by boat from Padang Bai harbor, turn left at Tanjung Sari and pass the Blue Lagoon. The name, Pura Jepun, comes from small a temple at the cliff. In Balinese word, Pura means temple and Jepun means frangipani (A type of tree). The cliff itself around a hundred meters high and just about 2 to 5 meters below water. Pura Jepun itself is a very shallow site that contains coral reefs with the coral fish babies.
