About Dolphin Den

Dolphin Den is on the Northern (north central)Coast of Roatan Island in the Honduras off of Punta Gorda. This dive site is located on the reef opposite Fuego del Mar A shallow cave swim-through from the inside of the reef to the outside. The maze of tunnels and caverns with silversides and other creatures like moray eels or a nurse shark, outside many lettuce leave slugs and sea hares, the dive ranges betwee 5 12 metres A tragic story, this site name, because its name is because of finds of Dolphin bones in 2007 where dolphins swam into the cavern, got trapped and drowned.
