About Black Coral Wall

Black Coral Wall is a another five star dive on the Southern (south eastern) Coast of Utilia Island in the Honduras. Venture a little west of Laguna Beach Resort mooring buoy and you will be enthralled by the most vertical wall of the south side. As you steer west from the mooring, the wall drops from 5m to 24m. Huge heads of bushy black coral and deep water sea fans are the reason for this sites name and start around 6m. At night the wall's colors come to life featuring basket stars in the vase sponges, octopus in the shallows and large eye toadfish (occasionally spotted eagle rays !!)
