About Airport Caves

Airport Caves is a dive featuring plenty of nooks and crannies to explore on the South (south eastern) Coast of Utila Island in the Honduras. Plenty of stag horn and elk horn are found here. There are three(3) large caverns and loads of crevices along the wall. An excellent night dive with caverns shallow enough situated between 6 and 12 m. Green moray eels, nurse sharks, squid, shrimp, lobster, crabs and other tropical fish will be seen in great numbers. Sometimes golden tail moray eel and the odd viper eel can also be seen in this area.
