The Villa on Dunbar Rock's PADI dive center operates 2 custom dive boats: the 45’ Freedom and 40’ Endeavor. Each have capacity for up to 20 divers. The boats have wide platforms for giant stride entries and sturdy ladders for exiting the water. They are provisioned with drinking water, fruit for snacking, fresh water showers, towels, camera rinse tanks, dry storage, shaded areas and all required safety equipment.Boat rides vary from 20 – 30 minutes for dives along the south to up to 45 minutes for dives along the northern coast. Boats generally depart at 8:30 am for the morning 2-tank dive, returning for lunch with the afternoon boat leaving a reasonable time after lunch has concluded.The Villa occupies 15,000 ft2/1395 m² rising from the “sea-level” which includes a white sand beach for lounging, swimming and snorkeling, the dive docks and a PADI/SSI dive center. Stairs and a ramp way wind their way up across four floors to the guest rooms, multiple terraces for lounging, infinity pool and pool bar, cardio room and the Great Room, which includes a comfortable living/dining room with couches, a large-screen TV plus a large viewing screen for personal videos. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Room categories include six Ocean Front Rooms with 2 queen beds, two Ocean Front Rooms with 1 king bed, a Presidential Suite and Penthouse Suite. All rooms have a private patios or balconies with ocean views. Saturday to Saturday packages start at $1,995.00 per person based on double occupancy including Ocean Front accommodations, gourmet meals and happy hour snacks, Managers welcome party, Wi-Fi, up to 3 boat dives daily (excluding day of arrival and departure), unlimited tanks for shore diving “around the rock,” complimentary boat transfers to and from Guanaja Airport and island tours conducted by their staff. Tax and gratuities are not included.
