About Whisky Reef

Whisky Reef is located 2 kilometers of the western shore of Matacawalevu Island and is about a 15 minute boat ride from Tavewa. The maximum depth at Whisky reef is 25 meters but the majority of the reef is between 15 and twenty meters. This reef has a wall from 25 meters to 5 meters, which is adorned with soft corals, sea fans and feather stars. There is a winding canyon that provides a haven for many spotted sweet lips and oriental sweet lips, in addition there are schools of fusiliers. This site is recommended for more experienced divers. Divers can expect visibilty to be between 15 and 30 meters at Whisky reef.
