About Tavewa Breakers

Tavewa Breakers: Located off the southern tip of Tavewa Island and is less than 10 minutes by boat. This reef extends off the southern point of Tavewa Island and offers good surfing as well as diving. The maximum depth of this site is about 25 meters and it features hard corals, sponges and plenty of sea fans ranging in size from half a meter to three meters across. It is common to see schools of trevally and Spanish mackerel, barracudas make appearances as well There's also have a resident HawksBill turtle, visibility at Tavewa breakers ranges from 15 to 20 meters. This site is excellent for beginners as well offers plenty for the experienced diver.
