About B26 Bomber

Beachcomber's WWII plane wreck lies at 26m about a kilometre and a half from the Island. The American bomber is not penetrable due to the damage that occurred on impact but it is tied together with rope so its navigable. The radial engines have turned into coral heads and the nose-wheel easier to recognise than most of the parts. The site also has quite an abundance of coral, which can double for some action during the safety stops.
