About Umm Gammar

Umm Gammar is located at the offshore island of Hugrhada. Divers can get to Umm Gammar by boat which is more than 30 minutes journey from Hurghada. This is an interesting big spot which consists shallow plateu and pinnacles. This site is reached via boat from Hurghada.Starting the dive on the Southern side you will come across a sandy plateau which you then follow in an Easterly direction where you will encounter a drop off as well as a wall,follow this wall in a northerly direction and after a short swim you will reach an area of rocks,a few pinnacles and chimneys.One has the option of heading to the Eastern and Western walls of this area which gives one the opportunity for a great drift dive and the walls also house some amazing caves.Good fish life and marine growth here too,This is a recommended dive for those divers who want it all in one dive
