About Stevns Klint (Gl. Højerup Kirke)

Here is a dive that requires a small investment. Not in money or in time, but in agility. It is thankfully okay when you are in the water. You are still fresh and will go down a slope to get to the water. It is easy to walk over the stones and you need not swim far before you have a little water over their heads. Gl Højerup church is absolutely stunning on a beautiful sunny day after a calm period. Kridtbundens white color reflects light and gives the water an incredible glow. It is a nice contrast with the dark red seaweed plants. The bottom is very hilly and formation of raised 1-1.5 meters, forming long dalsænkninger where there is often sand on the bottom. It is a wonderful feeling to glide across the terrain and down in the valleys
