About Ristinge Hale

It is easy to find out for Ristinge Hale. You run just as far as possible, past the harbor and Ristinge Klint. Further along a hole grusvej for one can not come anymore. In the parking lot at the end of the road, there are only a few meters to the sea and one of the beautiful naturdyk Fyn. From here you can see over to Marstal on Ærø. The bottom is very varied with sand and large rock formation that is filled with bladder wrack and a swarm of small fish. The place is ideal for the Sunday excursion. Families can serve with madkurven after a trip under water. You can follow submarine cables under water, so it is not using the compass. Here, you will find a varied life of havkarusser, flatfish and needle fish, and vegetation is unique with havplanter in all shapes and colors. The area is quite distinctive and not typical of the Sydfynske archipelago. From Sydlangelands west-facing coast and the coast from Vejsnæs head restraint on Ærø sydspids to Ærø Hale deplete waves cliffs and depending on wind direction the material will be placed in the shelter, either in response to Ærø to the east or in the extension of Ristinge peninsula to the north-west. There is thus at the nearest one submarine sandrev between Ærø and Langeland. In fact, you can wade through the water from Ristinge Hale to Great Holm and on to Holmen Lindholm, Langholm Langholm and Main. So are you a few hundred meters from Port Marstal where a backhoe dug flow prevents vadning. Great Holm with Rev is Sydfyns main rastelokalitet for waders. Thousands of ordinary ryler hold here. Copper Nepper, REGNSPOVE and sand runners, you may also be lucky to find. If you have the opportunity to bring a boat can vragdykkes on the south of Great Holm. An unidentified wooden, almost ten meters long, has for some years now been fully exposed on the sand bottom at a depth meter - some of the frames even sticks to the water at low tide.
