About Katholm Grusgrav

Katholm Grusgrav or Katholm Gravel is near the town Glatved on Djursland. There is a large quarry called Katholm Gravel and the beach in the area is popular among nature-loving Danes, there is opportunity to bathing, fish, hiking, sunbathand watch birds . But divers can get an exciting experience here. Gravel produced from Katholm Gravel is transported to customers around the world, with cargo ships. To load the big ships efficiently, has built two large platforms well away from the beach. Stones of different sizes run on a conveyor belt and out to the ships' holds. For divers, there is plenty to look at. During the dive - get past the bropillerne that supports the transport band. Between the pillars there is a little monotone sandy bottom, making it difficult to orient themselves, so it's a good idea to use the compass diligently. Use a little time around each bropille and enjoy the sight of all the lives that have attached here fast.
