Vera K

Vera K is a unique dive site situated close to Paphos Harbour. The site is characterized by the wreck of a Lebanese freighter, which ran aground in 1972 and was subsequently sunk two years later in 1974, after obtaining the necessary permissions. The sinking process involved the use of explosives, which has resulted in the vessel's unrecognizable condition. Despite the significant wreckage, the ship's bridge remains largely intact, adding an intriguing highlight to the dive. Additionally, the remnant debris form tunnel-like structures, offering a fascinating exploration experience for divers. The dive site offers a maximum depth of 11 meters, with visibility ranging between 9 to 27 meters approximately, varying based on weather and seasonal conditions.
