About The Channel

The Channel is a remarkable dive site located in Cyprus, characterized by a distinctive canal-like entrance formed by a gap in the rocks. This unique feature serves as a natural breakwater, allowing for safe and accessible diving even under somewhat rough sea conditions. The diving journey commences with a gentle slope, following the side of a wall that provides an immersive underwater terrain to explore. At approximately halfway around the site, divers can encounter a quaint little cave, adding another layer of intrigue to this dive spot. After exploring the deeper parts, divers can return either by following along the wall or by cruising on top of the reef at a shallow depth of just 4 meters. The average visibility ranges from 7.5 meters to a stunning 22.5 meters, offering a clear view of the underwater world. The maximum depth at this site is about 12 meters, making it suitable for divers of varying skill levels.
