Monty's Reef is a conveniently located dive site, just a brief 10-minute journey from the harbour. This site is especially well-suited to easy scuba diving, thanks to its sheltered position which offers protection from rough conditions. The dive primarily revolves around a reef situated in waters that are 12 meters deep. The area surrounding the reef is enriched with a variety of underwater features, including various gullies and overhangs for divers to explore. The visibility at Monty's Reef is fairly good, with minimum visibility typically around 10 meters, and maximum visibility stretching up to 30 meters. This ensures a clear and enjoyable diving experience, with plenty of opportunities to fully appreciate the reef and its surrounding marine life.
