About Playa Forti / Sweet Alice

At the far northwest of the island in the town of Westpunt. It is a very scenic drive through the hills of Band Abou with cactus everywhere. The dive site is just a short swim from the beach (Play Forti). You can park at the top of the cliffs and you will find stairs down to the beach. Remember your boots, the black sand gets very hot. There is a restaurant serving foods and drinks. Enter at the beach and swim about 135 meter to the drop-off. There is a bit of boat traffic. The bottom is mostly sandy. The reef starts in 10 meter of water and drops gradually to 37 meter. The currents can be unpredictable but is generally light.
