About Diver's Leap

The sites name is derived from the way divers leap from the rocks into the water below. This site is just east of Jan Thiel Bay. You can reach this site from this bay after a lengthy swim, about 20 minutes. If you don't want to access it from Han Thiel , you can follow the sandy path running parallel to the access road, which ends at a small inlet. There are several large coral formations close to shore, please lookout for them. You will find yourself i a soft coral heaven. You will cross a sandy plateau swimming out to the mooring. The buoy is located at the edge of the drop-off in 10 meter of water. The wall falls rapidly below 43 meter making it perfect for deep diving, please watch your depth all the time. Be aware that the currents can change at any time. This site is not suitable for snorkelling.
