About Daaibooibaai

This beach is located on the western shores of Curaçao. The neareast city is Carcasbaai. This is a good spot for snorkelers and divers of all levels. This is a small sandy bay near the small villiage of St. Williboard. The only facilities at the beach are a few thatched parasols and snack bar. But rather bring your own water and don't forget the suntan lotion. Parking is very close to the beach and free. To the west there is a small trail leading into the countryside. Cliffs protect the waters inside the bay, which means that swells and current are usually light. It is a great spot for novice divers. Enter at the beach and swim straight out towards the drop-off. The drop-off is about five minutes swim past the end of the bay. It starts in 10 meter of water and falls below 30 meters. Remember to keep an eye out for the fishing boats. The current can pick up beyond the mouth of the bay. Directions: Head for the town of Willibrordus, turn left at the church. Follow the signs toward Daaibooi past the Habitat Resort.
