About Patricia Lake

This dive site has quite a history and an interesting concept many people haven't heard of. It was a British military project in the second world war called Project Habakuk that entailed the idea that they could build a barge that would be made from pykrete. It would be able to travel water for extended periods without melting. This lake allows you to dive the remains of what was the prototype of this project. It was later cancelled due to not being cost-effective.
