About Norris Rocks

This is a very popular winter dive. A huge herd of stellar and California sea lions haul out here as they wait for the herring spawn in early March. In the summer the rock is covered with a flock of nesting glaucous-winged gulls, and all year round it is a popular hangout for shy harbour seals.
