About Clarke Rock

Clarke Rock is a shore or boat dive in the Horswell Channel and just off of the heart of downtown Nanaimo itself. The rocks in the area provide varied and interesting topography for a range of divers from the bear novice and this dive is suitable for night dives - weather and currents permitting. Clarke Rock itself is a rock/knoll and decent around this outcrop provides a variety of interesting gullies and caves to keep all visitors transfixed and amazed by the variety of colors on offer. Nudibranches and local schooling fish entertain.
