About Cameron Bay

A great wall dive. The mountains run right into the water making for a spectacular wall dive. Lots of cool rock formations. There are also several large felled trees in the water here as well. At 35 feet along the wall you will find an underwater rock cairn built by divers. Add a rock or two to the cairn as you swim past. The cairn has been under construction for many years and is getting quite large. Boyancy control is critical to avoid knocking it over. You can follow the wall at any depth. The bottom can be as deep in some areas as 140 feet and likely deeper in other areas. Advanced divers can use this spot for a deeper wall dive where novice divers can see plenty in the 0-60 foot range. This site is also popular for fisherman, so be careful of fishing line in the water.
